T his beautiful violin shows neither open cracks nor open seams. The table is finely grained spruce and the back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple - the fingerboard is ebony.

Like always the instrument has been completely checked by our luthiers and our violin player on playability. In our workshop it received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge, new soundpost and new strings. These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to allow a comparison of the tonality of each instrument in the videos.

In any case a new owner should consider any other renowned brand of higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full tonal character of this violin! Interesting old German quality violin in immediate playing condition! Total 59,5 cm / 23.4", body 35,8 cm / 14", vibrating chord length 32,8 cm / 12.9, weight 495 gr / 17.46 oz.
