Vintage Antique German Copy Stainer Violin c1920s Grafted Scroll 4/4. This violin was a house clearance find.
The violin sits in a wooden case this does have scuffs and scratches on and a bit of damage to the bottom the inside lining is coming of in places. The violin has nice ageing wear with marks around the body. I have been told that the violin is a German copy and from the 1920s era.The name stainer is stamped into the wood on the back and also the name is inked on the inside you can see this in the photos. The bow has a few strings come away but this is other wise complete.
The total height measures 23.25 and the bodys width measures 8. Please study the photos for condition and it forms part of the description.
