Vintage Violin with Bow & Extras. Antique Fiddle. Strad Copy Made in Germany

  

Travel back in time with this old violin. The inside label identifies it as a Stradivarius copy made in Germany. The back, sides, and neck are tiger maple.

The back is book-matched tiger maple. With a 21-1/2" overall length and 13" body, it's a 3/4-size violin. The pegs and peg holes are in pretty good round. Fingerboard is in decent shape.

The bridge is well fit to the top. The bow is unmarked as to maker. It has a curious striped finish. The bow has a very slight sideways curve. It has been re-haired in the last decade.

It comes with a three-CD and one-DVD instruction guide called Step One: Teach Yourself Violin. It also comes with a recent cake of violin rosin in box.

The violin has ordinary age and play wear here and there, with some scratches and scrapes. The sound post is standing.
