4/4 G. A. Pfretzschner Fine Violin

  
Here is a beautiful old G. Pfretzschner Markneukirchen Nach Antonius Straduarius, Cremona Faciebat Anno 1715.

This was a higher end Pfretzschner. It has a beautiful two piece flamed back and flamed ribs. There are some cracks on the top but I can not tell if they have been repaired as the violin is setup. I think they have been repaired but can't be sure.

While the setup on the violin was done some time ago, it has not had any usage and the pegs have a lot of life left in them. It has a Aubert three star bridge. The fittings are all ebony. There is a small amount of separation of the back from the upper portion of the ribs which should be easy to repair.

It is a beautiful violin ready and waiting to be used again. The case is missing the latch portion of its lock but the snap locks work fine. Please look at the pictures above.
