AAFA Antique Teacher of Violin Advertising Metal Trade Sign Wood Frame DS

  
All metal in wood frame. Has some surface rust around edges. One side is nicer than the other - more exposed to outside elements - I'm thinking. Black w/gloss - yellow lettering.

There are shadows in some photos because of the gloss finish. Nice trade sign for age. For 18 seasons he conducted the Schenectady Symphony, developing its capability and extending its repertoire to include the symphonies of Brahms and demanding contemporary works. A native of Schenectady, he attended local schools and earned a B. Degree in Music from Ithaca College.

Until his retirement in 1983, he taught music in the Schenectady Public Schools. The sign has not been cleaned.
