Violin with GSB Steam Bent Wood Violin Case. The label reads Jacobus Stainer in Absam prope Oempontum 1786.

The body of the violin is 14 inches long. Has a vintage Wilsons appliable fingerboard position guide for violin or mandolin published by the Chart Music Pub CHICAGO applied to the neck. It is missing the bridge and tail plug so those will have to be acquired for it. Everything seems solid on the violin and it should clean up nicely.

There is some wear on the wood by the chin rest as pictured. Aging and wearing to finish as pictured. The latches on the case are not properly latching. To prevent it from moving around.
