PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. Antique Vintage Anton Schaefer Violin made in Germany (no case)-The instrument is at least 100 years old & very well made. The label is intact, size is 3/4 (22). It has no open cracks or splits.

The finish is very good. Woods are excellent & matching. It is very light in weight. It has new strings, a new sound post & is ready to play, it needs nothing.

This violin is not a beginner violin by any means, certainly by today's standards. These violins are in major demand because of their sound & individual character. They are very nice instruments & quite reasonable in price, and also hand-made in Germany. This one has been completely serviced by Allan's Music in La Mesa, California. A great instrument for a serious young student. The pictures should answer most questions but free to ask about what will ever concern you.
