Beautiful old MAGGINI violin, presumably French around 1920 / 1930. Please listen to the video/soundfile & scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description!

Nicely crafted instrument with masterly crafted scroll and the typical Maggini double inlaid purfling on front and back. This classical master-piece shows no open cracks or open seams.

The table is medium to fine grained spruce and the back is nicely flamed maple. The violin was completely revised in our workshop and received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, elder ebony tailpiece & chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin!
