EKO 1964 Vintage Violin Bass Guitar Made in Italy Sunburst with Original Case

  
Eko violin bass, made in Italy dating from 1964. A beautiful vintage bass produced by Eko during the 60s. Eko pickguard with thumb rest. Plays wonderfully and has a warm tone when played acoustically. Currently strung with flatwound strings for that unmistakable dull 60s sound. The guitar is in good condition for its age and has been affected by what are typical lacquer splits commonly found on this model, which are present to the top, back and sides. This is characteristic of identical models of the same period, though the guitar is structurally sound and plays well. Besides this, the guitar has some dings, marks and age related signs of playing wear.

There are 2 perfectly filled inlay size holes to the 2nd fret area (pictured), which are level and done to a professional standard. Includes its original case with striking blue lining. The case has some wear, but the latches are functioning and it pairs well with the bass.
