This solid French 4/4 violin (two-piece back measures 14 3/16ths inches) bears a label: Henri Farny & Co. I believe this label to be authentic and the violin made in Paris in or around 1950.

The violin has a HUGE, warm sound and is good in the higher positions. Here is the chance to own a great sounding real French violin for a beer budget price!!! The condition of the violin is excellent with only a 1/4 inch repaired and holding crack on the right F hole.

It is ready to play. There are a few scuffs or scrapes one would expect for a violin of this age. The pegs match and work fine. The strings are good nearly new Dominate G-D-& A strings. There is fine grain spruce on the table with flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck and scroll. Now You Can Own It For Less!!! The violin is offered as is and as pictured.
