Please listen to the video/soundfile & scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description! Masterly carved scroll and accurate inlaid purfling. There're no open cracks or open seams, but surely some marks in its old amber varnish, mainly on the back. The table is finely grained spruce and the back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. Like always the instrument has been checked by our luthiers and by our violin player on playability.

It received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, an elder tailpiece & chinrest, a newly fitted bridge, new soundpost and new strings. These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance.

We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin!

Good old violin in immediate playing condition! Total 59,5 cm / 23.4", body 35,8 cm / 14.15", vibrating chord length 33 cm / 12.99, weight 483 gr / 17 oz.
