Please listen to the video/soundfile & scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description! Nicely carved scroll and accurately inlaid purfling. There're neither open cracks nor open seams. The table is finely grained spruce and the 2-piece back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple - the fingerboard is ebony. It received new ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance.

We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin! Interesting old German quality violin in immediate playing condition! Like always the instrument has been checked by our violin player on playability. Total 59 cm / 23.2", body 36 cm / 14.17", vibrating chord length 32,5 cm / 12.8, weight 507 gr / 17.9 oz.
