Please listen to the video/soundfile & scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description! This beautiful violin shows n o open cracks or open seams. The table is medium to fine grained spruce and the back - as well as ribs and neck - is maple. Like always the instrument has been completely checked by our luthiers and by our violin player on playability.

In our workshop it received new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, elder ebony tailpiece, elder ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid playing performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to allow a comparison of the tonality of each instrument in the videos.

In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full tonal character of this violin! Fine old violin in immediate playing condition!
