This violin sounds as good as it looks. This Fine Italian School 4/4 Violin is in EXCELLENT condition, NO CRACKS!!! The violin bears no label, but this looks to me like what was coming out of Milan in the 1990s, for export to the USA. The sound is like WARM, HUGE and ROBUST.

It is evenly balanced on all strings and great in the higher positions. This violin is a CANNON (you will be heard) It has a lovely flamed maple two piece back. There are only a few of the usual scratches, scuffs and scrapes to the varnish one would expect from a violin this age. The violin has GOOD NEW strings on it. The pegs match and work fine.

The violin is ready to play with no further work needed. The wood is tight fine grain spruce on the table and really lovely flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck. The inlayed purfling is real, not painted on!!! NOW YOU CAN OWN IT FOR MUCH LESS!
