VERY NICE BACK VERY NICE WOOD. OPENED IN THE FRONT LOWER SIDE WHERE GLUE ATTACHES THE PIECES (IN PICTURE) BACK IS TWO SIDED AND THERE'S A SLIGHT OPENING DOWN THE MIDDLE WHERE GLUE IS (IN PICTURE) CHECK PICTURES OF THE BASE OF THE NECK (WOOD). PLEASE LOOK OVER THE VIOLIN CAREFULLY.
