A superb rare Georgian antique solid sterling silver sauce or gravy ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1824 with the makers marks being RR. It has been beautifully made to what is termed the Fiddle Pattern and has been engraved with a crest of a Bull, this is associated with the Torrence Family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. 7 inches (17.7cms) long by 2.5 inches (6.4cms) wide and weighs 62 grams. A very nice quality interesting example.
