Vintage Giovan Paolo Maggini Brescia 1630 full-size 4/4 violin with bow and case. Very good condition for such an ancient instrument. Maybe one hairline crack on the top surface; otherwise it looks intact. I think it is all original, except I replaced one broken peg. The Bausch bow, 29-inch, is good condition, but the hair needs to be replaced.

The case is in excellent condition, with three working latches. Giovanni Paolo Maggini 1580 - c. 1630, born at Botticino (near Brescia, Italy), apprenticed with the master violin maker Gasparo da Salo.
