This is a fully restored antique 4/4 violin, fiddle. There is an old label visible inside the f hole: Antonius Stradiuarius Cremonensis, faciebat anno 1714 (the last two digits handwritten in ink). It is clearly very old.
Most likely it is a late 1800s German copy. The violin has been restored and re-varnished at some point in the past. There is an old, hard to see repair on the right f hole. And the seam in the end pin area. Other than these, the violin is structurally sound, and in excellent ready to play condition. It will get even better with new quality strings, and regular playing. Dimensions are: length 14" width 8".
