This antique violin has an exceptionally beautiful sound, with a clear and resonant voice which has matured as the violin has aged. The violin coming from famous traditional violin masters Bohemian place Kraslice (Czech pronunciation).

Graslitz (German pronunciation) is a town in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. The first historically confirmed musical instrument maker was Melchior Lorenz. At his wedding in 1631. He was registered as a "ein Geigenmacher" (violin maker). The number of violin masters increased, so that already in 1669 they had their own violin guild in Graslitz.
