Old Antique Vintage 1800s Inlaid 2 Pc Back Full Size Violin NR

  

The nicely figured/inlaid 2 pc back measures 14 1/8 by 7 7/8 inches. The violin is lined and has 4 corners blocks. The scroll and pegbox are in good condition and the neck is solid.

The scroll looks to be grafted (please check pics). The pegs turn smoothly and the fingerboard is in good condition.

The soundpost is standing inside the violin and there are no open seams. The violin is for restoration. The violin is not labelled. The violin had repair work done in 1997 by Potter's Violin of Bethesda Maryland (please check pics).

The repairs include a top crack (saddle area) and a neck plate (please check pics). Everything is stable and holding (please check pics).

Please check pic of the chinrest area as there is edgewear (please check pic). This nice old vintage is for restoration.
