This Chinese violin was built in 1957. The instrument plays with a tone both warm and sharp, sure to pierce through any concert hall. With minimal scratches on its surface, it is in great condition for its age.

Additionally, the violin displays unique beauty in its filettos, outlining a golden strip of wood. The material is very handsome and the violin remains in fantastic condition. We do not know who made it and would love to hear from a Chinese-speaking friend who might be that maker. I think it somebody significant and famous in China.
