The violin is in fine, immediate playing condition and was carefully worked over in our workshop, where it received new set-up with new ebony pegs, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. Labeled inside the body and stamped on the upper back. T his beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams. The table is medium to fine grained spruce and the 2-piece back is nicely flamed maple. Pegs, fingerboard, tailpiece and chinrest are ebony. Like always the instrument has been completely checked by our violin player on playability. In our workshop the violin received new ebon pegs, new ebony chinrest, a new bridge and new strings. T hese are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos.

In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin! Total 59,5 cm / 23.4", body 35,6 cm / 14", vibrating chord length 32,5 cm / 12.8, weight 504 gr / 17.8 oz.
