& scroll down to see all detailed XXL photos below as part of the description! The table is a finely grained spruce and the back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple.

Pegs, fingerboard, tailpiece and chinrest are ebony. The violin was restored in our workshop: The middle seam and a crack on the front has been re-glued and patched with wooden cleats, the same for a damage on the upper treble rib and the right A-peghole has been plated.

It received a new setup with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, new ebony chinrest, newly fitted bridge & soundpost. Mounted are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos.

In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full sound range of this violin! Beautiful quality instrument in immediate playing condition! Great warm and mature sound - Please see the video & listen to the sound on youtube! Total 59,5 cm / 23.4", body 35,8 cm / 14.14", vibrating chord length 33 cm / 13, weight 487 gr / 17.18 oz.
