T his beautiful violin shows no open cracks or open seams. The table is finely grained spruce and the 1-piece back, as well as ribs and neck, is flamed maple. The instrument has been checked by our luthiers and checked by our violin player on playability. In our workshop it received new setup with new ebony pegs, new ebony chinrest, new ebony tailpiece, a new bridge, new soundpost and new strings.

These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid playing performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to allow a comparison of the tonality of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full tonal character of this violin! Old German master violin in immediate playing condition!
