The table is a finely grained spruce and the 1piece back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. The violin was completely revised and checked by our luthiers and by our violinist on playability.

In our workshop it received a new set-up with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece, new ebony chinrest, new bridge, new soundpost and new strings. Mounted are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid finger performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos.

In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full sound range of this violin! Beautiful quality instrument in immediate playing condition!
