Old Vintage Antique 1 Pc Quilted Maple Back Full Size Violin

  

I bought this on a whim and do not play the violin. I will include the description given in the previous owner's listing, which, from looking it over, seems accurate. I see no open or unrepaired cracks, all joints seem solid. Quilted maple back full size violin for restoration.

The nicely figured 1 pc quilted maple back measures 14 by 8 1/8 inches. The violin is lined and has 4 corner blocks. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violin and the neck is solid.

The scroll and the pegbox are in good condition. The pegs turn smoothly and the fingerboard is in good condition. The soundpost is standing inside the violin and there are no open seams. I do not know the brand of the strings but they are in new condition. There is no makers label.

The violin has age related scratches/wearmarks on the varnish (please check pics). The top of the violin had been repaired at one time. The repairs had been professionally done and are stable and holding (please check pics).
