Pre WW II Czech 4/4 Violin, Ready to Play

  

This is a vintage 4/4 violin, fiddle. There is an old label visible inside the f hole: Made in Czech.

This violin was made for export to the US. Sometime in the Pre WW II era, probably in the 1920s.

I do not see any cracks or old repairs on the decks. In the end pin are the seams may have been re-glued at some point in the past. The violin has been lightly re-varnished to bring out the beautiful patina. It is in excellent ready to play condition. The tone is great as is; It will get even better with quality new strings and regular playing. Dimensions are: length 14 and 1/4" width 8 and 1/4".
