Rare Early-mid 19th C Antique Red Pntd Wood Violin Coffin Case, Ink Dog Drawing

  
It's shaped like a wood coffin and is made of most likely local, milled pine boards. Each side and the chamfered top and bottom sidewalls are each made of single pieces or boards of pine. The violin case still has its original brass lid hinges.
