4/4 violin bears no label. It is my opinion that this violin was made in Milan, Italy in or around 1860. There may be someone else with a different opinion. The violin has excellent sound, Huge, Warm, Lovely Overtones and is good in the higher positions with the good Dominate Strings on it. Here is your chance to own a great sounding violin for a low, low price!

The condition of the violin is Excellent. There are no cracks, just a small ding to the scroll (see pix). There are very few scuffs or scrapes one would expect for a violin of this age. The pegs don't match but work well.

There is fine grain spruce on the table with very tasty flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck and scroll. Now You Can Own It for Much Less!!! The violin is offered as is and as pictured. What you see is what you get.
