Rare Fine Old 1900 Vintage Mirecourt French 4/4 Violin-Big Warm Sound-Free Ship

  
This solid French 4/4 violin bears only a repair label from 1961 in Denver Colorado. I used to own one just like it out of the Old Weisshaar Violin Shop in Los Angeles. Based on that, it is my opinion that this violin was made in Mirecourt France in or around 1900.

The violin has a good French sound, big, warm, and is good in the higher positions. Here is your chance to own a great sounding French violin for a beer budget price!!! The condition of the violin is very good.

There have been some professional repairs shown in the pictures on the left rib, by the tailpiece, and on the back center seam. These are all good and holding. There are a few scuffs or scrapes one would expect for a violin of this age. The pegs match and work well. There is fine grain spruce on the table with tasty flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck and scroll.
