This Wonderful Sounding Violin has no label. The varnish looks French to me, my best guess. It was made in or around 1815 as it does have a grafted neck. HUGE and SOLO QUALITY with great overtones, good in the higher positions.

The table (top) has one repaired crack running from the lower end to the shoulder which is shown in the pictures. The repair is professional and holding.

The violin is ready to play with the old strings it came to me with. New strings would make this lovely violin SOAR! There is fine grain spruce on the table with TASTEY flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck and scroll.
