This German Master 4/4 Violin was made by Albert Gotz in Markneukirchen. It bears his label: Albert Gotz Anno 1915. I believe this label to be authentic and the violin made by this master. This Master is listed in The Henley Universal Dictionary of String Instrument makers (see pix) I believe this violin to be one of his "high end, " models. The table (top) has several repairs, shown in the pictures.
All were professional and all are holding. The sound is wonderfully warm and bright which would make any professional violinist happy! There are near new Tonica strings on it. The violin is ready to play. There is fine grain spruce on the table with FANTASTIC flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck and scroll.
Now You Can Own It for MUCH Less!!! The violin is offered as is and as pictured with NO BOW. What you see is what you get. This item is in the category "Antiques\Musical Instruments (Pre-1930)\String". The seller is "californiamusical" and is located in this country: US.
