Stunning Set of 12 Silver Fiddle, Thread & Shell Dessert Spoons Bristol Maker
On offer is this Stunning Set of 12 Provincial English Victorian Silver Fiddle, Thread & Shell Dessert Spoons. Exeter Hallmarks to the rear of the stems with date letter for 1848. They have the makers mark of Bristol Silversmiths Robert Williams & Sons (James and Josiah). These spoons have been very well cared for and are presented in very good condition. Minimal wear to the bowls with no splits, cracks, dinks, dents or sign of repair. Just as they were when they were made 174 years ago. Engraved to the terminal with a crest of a Stork with a Snake in its beak. The spoons are 7 inches long and are made of a good gauge of silver having a combined weight of 579 g (18.6 troy).
