Vintage Jacobus Stainer Violin 4/4 Gemany withcase

  

This is a used Vintage Joseph Guarnerius Conservatory 4/4 Violin. It was made in Germany The Body is 14 inch, upper bout 6 5/8 inch, lower bout 8 inch, tip to tip 23 1/2 inch.... Spruce top with maple back and sides...

The back is 2 piece.... Ebony fret board and keys. Has a crack about 1 1/2 long on the front by the tail piece running up from the bottom of the violin, does not seem to effect the violin seems to be sturdy, not sure if crack goes through or not, (SEE PICS) It does not have a bow, I can not play one so I do not no know how it plays or sounds so it might need to be set up professionally, its an old violin so i'm sure it will have a good tone after it has been set up with new strings and it will need a sound post installed. Does not come with any extras only what is seen in the pics. SOMETIMES DUST CAN SETTLE IN THE ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND CAUSE SCRATCHY NOISES WHEN ADJUSTING SETTINGS.
