This fork dates to imperial Russian, circa 1897, and is part of the estate of my Great-Aunt I have a few other antique silver pieces, check out my other auctions! Everything is straight with no nicks, and a nice patina (I'm sure she polished it at some point, but not recently). When held up to the light you can see the lightest of scratches, as you would expect on a fork that's been used. The back says "HC 1897" and has the 84 mark that shows it's Sterling Silver.
There's a makers mark and some Russian lettering as well, but I haven't been able to identify it further. My aunt VERY LIGHTLY etched her SSN into the back (see where my finger covers the middle number). It could be buffed out with some abrasive cloths and elbowgrease, but I'm not enough of a silverware expert to do it myself. This item is in the category "Antiques\Silver\Sterling Silver (. The seller is "suzann1701" and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped to United States.
