XIX th Century - French Empire. Stunning Huge antique Bronze Violin Shaped Clock. In the pure taste of Louis XV.

Monumental Mantel Clock in chased bronze (with its original gilding). Very rare "Chemin de Fer" double display dial, domed polychrome flowery, blue and black numerals, with pair of chiselled and finely openworked hands, domed glass for the front door.

Stunning cartel / clock / pendulum surmounted by a large fluted vase. Ornamentation of various floral and foliage ensembles, shells. Acanthus leaves, scrolls and grooves, in the pure taste of Louis XV. The 8-day key movement works, chimes / strikes the hours. And half hours on request but for current use, may need to be revised.

By the new purchaser because the date of the last revision is unknown. (Possibility of closing the striking by removing the bell). Clock delivered complete with its key, its bell and its pendulum.
